As home buyers take a new interest in suburban living, Brookfield has ways to safely tour homes ready for move-in

Even while Colorado was getting set to reopen new home areas as the Coronavirus crisis may be ebbing, homebuilders were already reporting plenty of buyers out looking – exploring new ways of living and new places to do it.

“There’s a wave of buyers driving around our neighborhoods in Brighton, Firestone, and Douglas County,” says MacKenzie Graham with Brookfield Residential. “They’re looking for suburban areas that are still close to the city, but with less density and better access to trails and open space.”

Brookfield has rolled out new technology called MyTime that allows those buyers to make private, on-site visits to its show homes — and even to its for-sale homes that it has move-in ready. Brookfield’s web site leads to specific communities with lots of new parks and open space areas; and from there to homes that Brookfield has on track for delivery now.

Buyers provide a time they want to visit, and Brookfield automatically opens the door for them – no contact whatsoever with other visitors.

That’s an especially alluring prospect for millennial buyers whose tastes have been shaped by urban areas like LoDo, RiNo, and Highlands, where they see very contemporary architecture. Brookfield shows them creative, contemporary home designs that are nothing like the traditional tract homes that buyers tend to identify with the ‘burbs.’

The new-urban styled ‘Signature 2’ single-family design is a home-like that at Sterling Ranch, a community where families are out using the trails in relatively low-density surroundings, close to Roxborough State Park and Chatfield State Reservoir (residents get a year pass). The home shows almost 2,000 feet of finished space, with three bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a 2-car attached garage, a big, sheltered side yard for outdoor living, and a finished basement area that’s been included upfront. The master suite is the coolest you’ll find at anywhere near this price – with a private sanctuary that has a view, and a bath with his-her entries to separate walk-thru closets.

The price is $599,350, ready to move in now. Tour it with MyTime, and you can experience it entirely on your own, no interruptions.

That’s one of three move-in-ready homes at Sterling Ranch, from $559,000. Brookfield Residential has others ready, available for MyTime tours, at Barefoot Lakes, a lakeside community just east of I-25 between Firestone Blvd and Highway 66; and at Brighton Crossing, north of Bridge Street on N. 50th Avenue. Both areas have very prominent parks, trails, and recreational amenities.

And if you’re comfortable with a little more face-to-face contact, you’ll find that Brookfield has reopened its model complexes in all three areas for appointments. To set up one, or a MyTime visit, call 303-803-7571.
